High School (Milwaukee Lutheran High School): Earned 3 varsity letters in baseball and 1 in basketball... Was named all-conference honorable mention as a sophomore, second team all-conference as a junior, and first team all-conference as a senior... As a senior, he recorded a .440 batting average, and a 5-0 record with a 1.10 ERA.

Personal: Son of Bill and Nancy Scasny... Has one older sister, Corrine... Father, Bill, played college baseball at Carroll (College) University.
